Coloring Your Resolutions: How Coloring Can Help You Achieve Your Goals

creating a coloring page

Hey, what's popping my coloring comrades? It's your girl/guy back again to talk about how coloring can help you achieve your goals in the new year. That's right, y'all. We're ditching the boring old resolutions and getting creative with our goals. And what better way to do it than with the power of coloring?

Here's the thing about resolutions, they're usually boring and they never seem to stick. I mean, how many times have we set a resolution to go to the gym more and ended up eating a bag of chips on the couch instead? But with coloring, we can turn our goals into something that's fun, inspiring, and most importantly, achievable.

Coloring Your Resolutions: How Coloring Can Help You Achieve Your Goals

So, let's get into it. First things first, we need to set some goals. And I'm not talking about those boring resolutions like "lose weight" or "save more money." I'm talking about something that gets us excited, something that we're passionate about. It could be a creative goal, a career goal, or a personal goal. The important thing is that it's something we really want to achieve.

Next, we're going to take that goal and turn it into a coloring page. That's right, my peeps. We're going to create a visual representation of our goal. Maybe it's a picture of us standing on a stage after giving a killer presentation, or maybe it's a picture of us traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. Again, the possibilities are endless. Take your time in drawing that line art. As you draw the realization of your goal, think of the steps necessary to achieve that goal. Break those steps down into smaller steps - then into even smaller steps, until you have an extensive list of small doable steps. This is your daily TO Do List where you can take daily actionable steps to achieve your goal in your comfortable time frame.

When your vision is complete in your mind and in your line art, let's start coloring. As we color in our image, let's visualize ourselves achieving that goal. Let's imagine what it will feel like to accomplish what we set out to do. Let's let ourselves get excited about the possibilities.

But we're not done yet, my coloring homies. As we color, let's reflect on some actionable steps that we have taken to achieve our goal. Maybe it's signing up for a public speaking course, or maybe it's researching job opportunities in a new city. Whatever it is, let's reflect on it as we color and consider our next steps for tomorrow.

And here's the awesome part, as we complete each step towards our goal, we can color in that part of the picture. It's like a visual representation of our progress. It's like a coloring version of a progress bar. And let me tell you, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing that picture come to life as we move closer to achieving our goal.

But we're not done yet, my peeps. Once we've achieved our goal, we can look back at that picture and feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. We can see how far we've come and be inspired to set even bigger and better goals.

And here's the best part, we're not just coloring for ourselves. We can share our artwork with others and inspire them to achieve their own goals. Maybe we create a coloring book with all the amazing images we've created. Maybe we host a coloring party where we can all color together (and maybe have a drink or two). Maybe we donate our artwork to a cause we care about. The possibilities are endless.

So take it from me, my coloring comrades. Goals don't have to be boring and unachievable. We can turn them into something that's fun, inspiring, and creative with the help of coloring. Let's color our way to achieving our dreams and making 2024 our best year yet!

In the wise words of the great philosopher, Drake, "Started from the bottom, now we're here." We may have started from the bottom with our goals, but with the help of coloring and our own determination, we can get to the top, baby! Let's make it happen in 2024!
